The Mouths Of Babes!

A friend of mine has a 3-1/2 year old son who is just now learning to talk.  We could see based on the things he did that he wasn't mentally slow, just for some reason he hadn't started talking.  Well about two months ago he started preschool, and his vocabulary has since grown exponentially.  Before he started preschool the number of words he would clearly pronounce was around 10, and he hadn't even attempted sentences yet.  So last night his mom was trying to get him to lay down, and as soon as he got the chance, he made a run for it.  When his mom told him to come back, he pointed at the door and very seriously said, "I gotta go to work!" and kept on going.  I laughed so hard!
